In short: everything you'd expect for the money
In full: Overall an enjoyable race. It did the job - I drove 45 miles for a race with PB potential and it certainly delivered. A few minor gripes, but for the money I won't complain about the lack of goody bag or comforts in the HQ. It offered runbritain ranking, great marshalls / atmosphere, a nice medal and plenty of water which is all that really counts. Having said that, chip timing would be appreciated - my gun time adds 39 secs to my watch time and there was plenty of runners behind me. One more thing that could be easily fixed is some sort of signage indicating you're allowed on the private road to access it (Hangar C2 meant nothing to me). I turned around and did a good few miles detour thinking there was another way, only to find myself on a byway. I was pleasantly impressed by the scenery though, having expected it to be industrial.

In short: Small, friendly, quick course, lovely.
In full: Really friendly atmosphere for runners of all abilities. A little disorganised at the start, apart from that a charming race. Although the roads aren't closed it's through quite streets and lanes and the cars were never a problem. Definite PB potential. Knocked 2 minutes off mine. would do it again.

In short: A foggy morning but a race with a sunny disposition
In full: Enjoyed the morning, fabulous turnout on a foggy morning that promised PB's and it didn't disappoint. Friendly marshalls & great offering of Jelly babies half way round. Complete value for money and a great family atmosphere sure to bring everybody back next year.

In short: Very good event - but no goody bag or bottled water or chip timing
In full: This was my second running of the Swindon 10k and it is a very good event. Well organised and marshalled. Great PB potential as course is mostly flat with a few slight inclines. It has the prospect of being a great event. I would prefer bottled water as opposed to filling a cup from a tank and chip timing should be available on a race this size. A goody bag would of been nice. I would recommend this race to all abilities

In short: Well organised race
In full: A little bit chilly, to be expected this time of year. Start a little bit busy but go away OK. Nice flat 2 lap course. Only gripe was finishing straight which went from road onto grass verge for the last 30 metres or so - not great for sprint finish. Apart from that a well organised and enjoyable event.

In short: Great race, worth braving the November weather for
In full: Really enjoyed this race. Well signposted to race HQ from a mile or so out which is good. Facilities at Swindon Karting are good too. Only the 4th race I have ever done but my favourite so far, and I ran a good PB! They give you jelly babies at 5k and 9k which is nice too :)
