In short: 12k assualt course
In full: 2nd year of taking part, this year I went for the earliest wave and was aiming to break an hour. Managed it by 90 seconds. Absolutely made up. That aside I did really enjoy the race. Really tough, great comradeship at the obstacles. When's next years event?

In short: Hard work but good fun! Bottlenecking at obstacles was the only downside.

In short: One of my Favourites
In full: I was the unlucky guy in the first wave with the broken Fib and Tib. 2nd year doing the run and was pushing a great time this year. I unfortunately slipped on the little hills at Holme Pierrpont. Ironic having done the course before and finished the Tough Guy easily this year too.

I like the race, it breaks up what can be a, dare I say, another boring flat 10K.

The organisation was good again. I have even been contacted by the organisers while in hospital to check how I am doing etc.

I will be back again next year once I can walk/run again and I will get a better time that my first year!

In short: Organised but a little more thought needed
In full: I was in the second wave and my race ended 200 meters from the start on the haybales which disintegraded under my foot and breaking by right ankle.
Ok so these things happen and i'm not going to moan too much about it but while i was being seen to another obviously broken ankle was brought to be treated next to me from the same wave and then over the radio the paramedic was called away to treak a broken tib and fib! all before the third wave had started
more thought into the obstacles next year?
Oh and thanks to the guys that carried me back to the car, cheers fellas

In short: A fantastic 12K assult course
In full: A cracking day , very friendly , well organised and a fun day out . If your looking for a respectful time though going in wave one or two is advised , as the obsticles created bottlenecks , but this just added to day. A must if only once

In short: Muddy Brilliant!
In full: A great race and well organised.
12km not the original advertised 12km but with queues at several obstacles (and we were in Wave 3) not going to ever be a PB but well worth waiting to do the full challenge.
A real social event - lots of helping each other over the obstacles - and no help given to the very rare ultra competitive blokes who just barged past everyone being helped over the obstacles.

In short: Awsome. First time for me and definitely coming back next year.
In full: Only gripes from me would be the queueing for a life jacket at the water section. Other than that a well organised and great fun event.
