In short: A real challenge with a bit of everything.
In full: Probably tougher than I thought it would be & although I was expecting some mud & water, I didn't expect what was to come in 'The Wetlands'. The start was a bit cramped for my liking. You need full concentration throughout the race or you can easily end up on your backside. Everytime you ran through one of numerous large puddles you would have no idea how deep it was going to be. Overall, I really enjoyed the race & would actually prefered it to be a bit longer. Price is a little high. Looking forward to next year's race & hoping it will be even tougher.

In short: Fantastic race! Who wants to road race when you can wade thru deep mud and laugh at the sheer madness of it! I'm hooked.
In full: Thanks to the two blokes who grabbed me as I almost went head under in the first real bit of water/mud. Nobody tells you the mud doesn't come off -still finding bits after 2 showers and a bath!

In short: Great, but tough run. Hardest part was not knowing how far was left to go!
In full: An achievement for me just to get around! Will carry more water next time though.

In short: What a great race
In full: Not as tough as I thought it might be but what a great race / event. The start was a bit weird and I'm not sure why we all went in from the front and not the back but was we got started I guess it didn't matter. Couldn't understand why people were avoiding the mud early on - going through the middle was actually easier and quicker. Well most of the time - I came a bit of a cropper trying the same at the start of the Wetlands but it is all part of the fun.

Access to showers at the end was very welcome particularly as I was staying in a hotel. I would have loved to have seen there faces if I had turned up as I was. Binned my socks and shorts at the end and am still trying to get the mud out of my running top.

Looking forward to next year.

In short: Took two days to wipe the smile off my face!!
In full: Fantastic run, good fun and excellent atmosphere.

Felt the goody bag was a little meagre(considering the entry fee) although the washing powder came in handy.

In short: Brilliant fun and wonderfully hard
In full: Loads of fun (although at times I didn't think so) and a great laugh. Spend the next two days trying to get mud off yourself/clothes/trainers etc and the aches out of your body, but feeling very chuffed about it. Will do again. Really interesting not having any idea of how far you had left to go. Excellent support from people along the way - some real encouragement to be picked up (and it was needed).
