In short: Scenic with a sting in the tail!
In full: I should have realised when the race info said the last mile was "undulating" they meant vertical! OK it was only really a couple of hundred meters, and the view at the top was great - gave me chance to catch my breath! ;o)

Really scenic 5 miler, not one for a PB but not many trail races are. Two tough climbs but a fab singletrack downhill, the rest really does undulate. Can't fault the organisation, they even got the sun to shine! Luckily it was dry for a couple of weeks before the race, would have been much tougher if the course had been muddy. Will be back next year for sure - might even do some hill training next time!

In short: Beautiful scenery, excellent marshalling, horrendous hills - a fantastic race!
In full: Warmer weather made the course less muddy and much ruttier than expected - great to help increase the speed! Lovely area and a really friendly race, great for non or club runners alike. The hills were horrible, but some wonderful downhill moments made it worthwhile. I'll definitely be back next year.

In short: Fantastic Race
In full: First time I've done this as local to me. Very well organised parking, entry system, marshalls, everything perfect...

Its a cross country race, with two suicidal hill, great marshall's, nice scenery and glorious weather thrown in.

This race has reminded me why I love running so much...

Thanks to the organisers, definitely see you next Year!

In short: A great first time multi terrain run for me, just guessed there would be a sting with the second climb! Very friendly and great bacon butties.

In short: Very hilly and muddy - challenging for slower runners as only100 or so ran
In full: This was a first time race, very well organised. Lucky with the weather, bit muddy though! Very hilly so not recomended for slower runners and definitely not pb material. Lots of fun for those fit enough to enjoy the hills!
