In short: WET!
In full: The one race that might actually be quicker in wellies! Evil-y deep "puddles" (waist deep) with strategically placed camera-men. Great atmosphere, great location and the beautiful smell of pine throughout! Definitely worth a go.

In short: Awful 10K course
In full: At times it's dangerous. Two parts in particular, 1) you suddenly turn the corner over one of the many bridges to find you need to do an emergency stop or go flying down some steps. THere was no warning at all, not even a marshall in sight. 2) Down a wet and slippery zig zag path.

In short: A real thigh buster
In full: All on park pathways with a couple of pinch points. Plenty of ups and downs to test the stamnina. Not much about the charity, not even mentioned by the loud PA.

In short: Good fast race, delayed start though
In full: I thoroughly enjoyed this race firstly, it was beautiful by the river, however it was VERY cold, so the delayed start (due to queues of people waiting for the portaloos) was quite unpleasant. Otherwise, thought it was a good race, got a PB and nice scenery by the river.
