In short: Nice and Flat for a potential PB, shame about the obscene head wind in final 5k

In full: NICE RUN AND DONE WELL ON MY TIME FOR 43 YEARS OLD. HOWEVER, WHEN I GET HOME MY 6 YEARS OLD LOVES TO LOOK AT MY MUG, T SHIRT OR MEDAL. NOT IN THE CASE OF THIS RACE. WE GOT A CHEAP BAG FULL OF PAPER NOTHING MORE. QUESTIONS WHERE ALL THE MONEY WENT ? THIS LET DOWN THE DAY. I WILL DO THE SALISBURY 10 MILE NEXT YEAR. PITY REALLY.

In short: Quick flat course, lovely scenary, jolly good show!
In full: All in all a lovely race; just a shame about the very windy conditions on the return leg ruining any chance of a new PB. Without the wind it would have been ideal. Pedestrians and slow 5k runners did need to be negotiated at times. Very friendly and encouraging atmosphere; will be back next year.

In short: Good out and back race
In full: Good fast (out) and slower (back) race due to wind direction. More challenging and fun for it :) Windy enough for the kite surfers to have blast on the sea! Very friendly atmosphere, good marshaling. Great effort for the organizers first event. Nice to see youth and family events offered. Definite PB potential. Recommended and fun for all.

In short: Enjoyable morning, course is out and back on prom with a lot of public in way!
In full: Well organised race, a cold but sunny morning meant a lot of public walking on the course especially at the turn point. Would be a PB course but a strong cold easterly on the way back spoilt any chance.
But a good event building up to sopme tougher challenges later in year.

In full: My very first race! Good organisation. A wide range of abilities from the pro's to the plodders(I am one of the latter!). Stewards very encouraging, views along the promenade breath taking. If you want a fast time this is the place for you...if you are just starting out and you want a flat steady run with support, encouragement and a scenic route, then this one is also for you.

In short: Very fast and scenic course. Great organisation for a first race.
In full: Was a brilliant first 5k but as you headed back the wind began to abuse all that ran it's way. The organisation was fantastic for a new event, and i will definitely be back next year to break my pb even further. Well raced to all.
