In short: Agree with reviewer below - that hill does get steeper every year!
In full: I really like this race; it is local to me, always a great atmosphere, plenty of parking and pleasant surroundings for the family to wait in, as I plod my way around! Also agree that the first 2 km are boring, around the playing fields, I feel I am getting nowhere fast, as I can see the fast runners spreading out way ahead of me. Other than that minor gripe, I'll be back next year.

In short: Well organised. Tough hill could catch out beginners.
In full: An unseasonably warm day added to the difficulty. Not a big fan of the first 2Km around the field, but the rest of the course was very pleasant. Watch out for the hill!!!

In short: Nice settings
In full: First two km very boring as you have to weave around the school's enormous playing fields (quite a few corner cutters I noticed!) but once on the road it all becomes quite pleasant. Hot day and they had 2 water points which was very welcome.

Goody bag was a joke but the bananas supplied by Fruit for the Office were a welcome touch.

In short:
In full: Great event once again, the hill certainly takes the spring out of your step though. Only issue was with the car parking, for some reason the marshalls directed us straight through to the exit and this seemed to happen to alot of cars in front of us too!

In full: Really nice race this. Good atmosphere, great location, and great weather for 2008 & 2009. Mile three is a slog but a fair challenge. Good to see the course was adjusted this year to make it the correct length. Leaving by car towards Watford took a while.

Thanks to all the organisers, marshalls, etc.

In short: Very well organised, very hot day for the end of September
In full: My first 10k race and I was very nervous having found out about the hill after I registered to run. The hill is tough (it starts at around 3.5k and finishes at 5k), but I did run the entire course. It was very hot but the atmosphere at the start/finish was great and the water and banana very welcome. Wasn't expecting the medal so that was an added bonus. Would definitely do again.

In short: Excellent race - hot, hot, hot!!
In full: Another well organised Manches 10k with the familiar hill through Moor Park Golf Course catching out the unaware!
Great race and excellent weather (if a little too hot!)

In short: Great race but that hill still gets me! Thank goodness for the extra water stations manned by local residents as without it would have been even harder on this hot, sunny afternoon!
