In short: well done runners.well done organizers
In full: thanks asics and d organizers.keep it up.its my 4th time do it.1st and 2nd time i did it was combination of half marathon and 10k events which made d athmosphere awesome, something that is missing in the just concluded event.looks like were just running amongst ourselves due to minimal or sporadic spectators.next time i wish the scousers will be more enthusiastic and give their all out support and cheers.these events is a boost for the city's image and economy

In short: Too many slow people too far up field
In full: I couldn't get far enough to the start as I queued 20 mins for toilets - not enough of them.
Where were the KM markers, only saw 3 out of 10! Made life difficult going for time, shear luck still got PB

In short: Excellent morning - really enjoyed the run!
In full: Thanks Asics for sponsoring the event - t-shirt was good and medal had nice colour touches! ..... and course enjoyable, with Sefton Park looking fab in it's autumn colours. A bit of a slow start, but space to run appeared quite quickly. Friendly, enjoyable 10k!

In short: Excellent organisation
In full: A well organised and fast race in perfect conditions. The ratings of last year's race gave me some cause for concern but I couldn't find any faults, apart from the lack of directions for drivers.

For those who claim the course is only 9.5K, my GPS clocked it at 10.3K so unless I zig-zagged all the way, it's definitely 10K!

In short: Good PB & beginner race but organisation let us down
In full: Husbands first race having tried hard to get him to join me running. First time nerves made far worse by getting lost, big time, on way there. Given written instructions led to a closed road with no direction as to where to go. Stewards were not sure of where to go either and it was pure luck we turned down a road that got us there! Not a road sign in site until reached car park.

On way out the way we wished to go - to M62 - was blocked so long detour and lost again. Locals very friendly helping us on our way!

Apart from travel we enjoyed the race and route and 'support' team had chance to see runners racing and get back in time to see finishers.

Will do again, though a bit expensive, as we know where to go now - unless they change the route for next year?

In short: A NOTE FOR "TRUEMAN"
In full: I didnt race today as im racing during the week, I did however attend and applaud. Anyway, a note for "Trueman" who reckons this is a 9.5k race.
Do me a favour mate and look at the results. If the course is half a K short then you can add a minute and a half on to the times of the front runners. That would mean Andy norman would be running close to 33 minutes and John Mcole close to 34 minutes. NO CHANCE. Both runners have probably never ran slower than 33 minutes in their lives. There is no way the course is half a K short. Your just moaning for something to do.
In my opinion the price of entry needs to drop. The amount of free entries handed out should be cut and the cost of doing so deducted from the entry paid by everyone else.

Well done to all who slugged it out.
