In short: Great Race with a Great food festival and atmosphere
In full: I love the Royal Parks Half. It is really expensive for a half marathon and if it gets any more expensive, it won't be worth doing. But I love the route. I was disappointed this year there were not enough bananas at the finish for us slower runners. There is good support by the crowds the vast majority of the route except during the 10th and 11th miles that are in the middle of the park. Good organisation. The goody bag could be improved a little bit for the cost of the race.

In short: Super autumn half through the best bits of London
In full: Great race despite all the huge queues for toilets and baggage at the start - I'd recommend arriving at least an hour earlier

In short: My second RPF HM, and hopefully not the last - one of the best events in the calendar
In full: Organization is great, the route is the best one can get in London - much more scenic than the famous London marathon. Pure beauty, no industrial estates. Endless supply of goodies, including a newspaper to read on a way back! Lots of things for family/supporters to do while waiting, and the "food hall" after the race is amazing. I got my PB by 2 minutes today, the course is flat, wide and fast. Minor quibble - you don't get your results in runbritain.com, but does it really matter compared to the sheer enjoyment of the run through the best sites of London?

In short: Excellent race. Great atmosphere.
In full: I really enjoyed the run this morning and managed a PB.
It's a shame it rained so much over the last few days as the pre-race area and food festival area was very muddy. Over crowded in the starting area and huge queues for toilets and baggage drop - it looks like some people would have started late.
Great course - support amazing, all the charities seem to do a great job. It was a beautiful morning. I hope that I can get in next year.

In short: Got to be 1 of the best 1/2 marathons to tackle in the London area
In full: Challenging but fun. Well organised and well supported and plenty to do before and after the race. Good weather on the day made the whole event that little bit mor eenjoyable as well.

In short: loved it, booked my 2nd half marathon for March to improve and will come back next year
In full: Gorgeous scenery to run through, uplifting crowds through out the journey, well organised and perfectly flat for new runners.

It was the first half-marathon I ran and I was pumped at the end. I only started running at the beg of 2010. I have booked another half marathon in March and think it is a great first runner.
