In short: Circle the white horses tail
In full: Not a race to enter if you want a pb. Great hills and too many walkers who slow you up if you want to run. However, the atmosphere, organisation and general feel of the event was more than worth any negative comments that ever could be made. Groovy marshalls and even a guy trying to look like Arnie.... next year I wanna see him run it.
Not many races involve circling the white horse! Will be back next year.

In short: You can complete the terminator within 45 Minutes of the order to start. - T.Bliar
In full: Delayed start (20 mins) but warm sports hall to stand in. With Chelsea vs Liverpool in Cardiff and the westbound M4 busy this was a good decision. Flat for the first few miles, but very cold and exposed. Warmer in the hills, and not too hard in my view. Grip an issue so chose shoes carefully, also it is an idea to wear something windproof. Superb T-Shirt and amazingly a goody-bag. Good provision of water stations. Pens or markers at the start might have helped put athletes of the same pace together as for most of the race it is hard to overtake. Was the last mile really a mile or was it more ? Rough and tumble 10 harder in my view. Anyway, a great day out, like they all say - I will be back.

In short: Oh the hills, would do again. Very well organised and good atmosphere.
In full: Just got home from the race, first timers for this one. Great race, enough marshalls and water stops. Some very hard hills, begining with the "gully" and some really amazing views. Must learn to run down hills faster, played cat and mouse with other runners, over taking them up hill and them over taking me down hill!!
Read about a "naff t-shirt" at the end, but I like this years and they gave me choice of size.! Nice to have one that fits me, unlike others that have become nighties. Nice touch with the goody bag. Cakes looked delightful and very nice ladies!

In short: I haven't enjoyed a run so much for so long. Not for the faint hearted, but great atmosphere and friendly club feel. Superb!
