In short: I knew what I was in for!
In full: Definitely a tough course even for an experienced runner. Always seems to be windy. Biggest challenge though was the M25 on the way home- would have done better by continuing running.

In short: Definitely worth it!
In full: Very well organised race, quite demading for a hungover novice but the glorious weather and view of Epsom racecourse made for an enjoyable race.

In short: Undulating, with 2 long slow drags, but nothing major....worth the trip
In full: Mostly tarmac, 2 laps of 5 miles with 2 long slow uphill drags in each circuit. Lots of nice downhills to get your breath back though....Nicely organised and marshalled

In short: Always chilly weather on the Downs in january, but a great start to the new year
