In short: My first race so little to compare with but I thought running through Leeds with a lot of people and supportive crowds and organisation was amazing.

In short: Excellent. Top organisation, good course.
In full: A good event. Very successful for its first (hopefully not last) outing. Sheer amount of people made a PB time nigh on impossible even though it felt a quick course. After all though, it was a fun day and not one to be getting too obsessed with times. It was a run to enjoy and I, and im sure many others, did. Well done Jane, a great day.

In short: Great race for a good cause
In full: Very enjoyable race. Improvements for next year would be clearer, higher km markers as I missed alot of them, the goody bag could have had more in and the finish needs to be a bit more organised. Apart from all this I would do it again.

In short: great
In full: did this with a friend, his first race, and it was brilliant for that. For next year it'd be good to make the starting arrangements a bit clearer, and the post-finish - collecting bag, t-shirt etc. But it was excellent, thank you to all who organised it.

In short: Good cause, route lacking supporters etc, well organised, good atmosphere at start and finish
In full: worth running for to support worthy charity. Very few supporter on the route and no bands etc, but start and finish had a good atmosphere. excellent weather, never seen so many walkers!! so good beginners race.

In short: Very slow start due to all the congestion but a terrific atmosphere!
In full: Congestion in first few km very frustrating but huge charity event so that was the main thing! Amazing atmosphere and really, really enjoyed it. Not a PB race though! Will definitely do it next year. Thanks very much indeed to Jane and Mike Tomlinson - great job!!!

In short: A race for atmosphere rather than PBs
In full: There were several disappointments - the first 3k or so dodging round slower runners due to grouping 40 - 60 minute runners together, the underwhelming goody bag, a crowded 180 degree turn on Meanwood Road. But I didn't do this because I expected it to be a fast race, I did it because I have a lot of respect for Jane, and because I hoped it would be a good event. Not a good race, but an inspiring and uplifting morning with runners of all abilities giving it all they had, and it lived up to that side of things. I didn't get a PB, but I didn't expect one. I did still have a smile on my face when I finished, and I may be back next year, despite the grumbles.
