In short: Once again, a faultless race.
In full: I'm biased, being local, but this race is just brilliant. I like running in the rain, although I could cope with a little less than we had this year. I hope all the marshalls got medals too.

In short: great event despite being tough
In full: a tough course with steep downhills and uphills
lack of support in last 3 miles is not too good, but a good race, well worth doing.

In short: The heavy rain couldn't dampen the enthusiasm for this race, shame that the locals of Inverness couldn't match the support provided by the villagers enroute. Well done the volunteers!

In short: Challenging marathon, well organised and the heavy rain kept you nice and cool. Lovely day out.

In short: 2nd time around for me, managed to knock 25 mins off my previous time. Love and detest this course in equal measure but like Arnie I'll be back!

In short: My favourite race- without a doubt
In full: Fantastic race! "Heat mist" spoiled the scenery a bit this year but weather didn't spoil the race. I was speaking to two girls who said they'd come up from England to do Inverness because it was in the top 3 Runner's World races- it deserves to be! Superbly organised (I particularly loved the cans of Guinness above the drinks stations signs!)- though one minor complaint- they gave out energy bars at the drinks stations last year but not this time... But this is still easily my favourite race of the year.

In short: Great course, great organisation, great event
In full: Who wants a flat, fast, warm, dry race anyway! From the pre-start bus convoy to the post race hooley this was the best. No GNR-style grumbles about escaping from car parks or the like. Perfect size, a huge thank you to the support team - and what about those crazy cyclists, riding bikes on a day like that!

In short: great race, tough at times, great food and friendly marshalls and a PB too!
In full: weather could have been better but you cant have everything
really enjoyed the pasta party and post race food. great massage afterwards
love the medal
hills were ok, had trained hard for them.
course scenic when you could see it through the rain amd mist
a special thanks to the marshalls been out in such horrible conditions, especially the 2 young lads on the roundabout as we came into town, you cant possibly have any voice left today
great to get a PB on such a hilly course and I beat my OH by 15 mins, what more could a girl ask for!
