In short: Excellent organisation
In full: Well marshalled, good police presence, lots of water stations. Really well organised. There was a big line for the loos on the recreation ground before the start but a few minutes away there were more portaloos and no line. Shame about the motorists but short of full road closures what can you do. Some drivers are just a**e holes!! Well done and thanks to the organisers.

In short: Excellent race, excellent scenery, well organised
In full: What a lovely race, nice a scenic, fairly challenging, well placed water stations and sponge stations (altho I will agree a slight bit of mis organisation with the first water stop), marshalls very cheery and uplifting, brilliant brilliant race, well done.

In short: Great race....
In full: Really well organised, with plenty of water / sponges. Marshalls fantastic.
Tourists in cars need to be more patient. Driving along controlled roads at walking pace is a real obstacle for runners.

In short: A great race let down a little in organisation this year
In full: Not up to its usual standards. Same old moans though, not enough toilets for such a large number of runners meant lots of queues and nearly missing the start of the race. The first water station was a mess with loads of people running around but not getting much water to the table. Otherwise, lovely weather and a very pleasant course made for a happy day out

In short: Quite a challenging course
In full: I have run this race for many years and am always caught out by the hills. The scenery is superb and helps to make this a race not to be missed. I do miss the band that used to lead the runners down to the start, but I suppose that was getting to be too expensive. We don't want to price races out of the reach of the average runner.

In short: Good to look at and to run. I'll be back.
In full: A long way from the car park to the start meant that I and lots of others missed the start, but well-organised otherwise over a fantastic route. Water and sponge stations charming. My first Half, so a PB, and I didn't think the hills were too bad. New Milton is not a great place for spectators to wait though.

In short: Overall, a great race
In full: This is a great venue for a race. Course is undulating with equal ups and downs and neither too severe. Did a PB on this one!

In short: Had good memories of this from 2002 but not the same in 04. Car park, race HQ & start not very near each other and many started late. Nice enough race but not worth travelling too far for it.
