In short: Fun and friendly
In full: Good organisation and well worth the trip. Nice to have your name and number called out at the finish for a final cheer. Excellent to a first timer like me.

In short: My first Half but I wish it had been my second - watch for the hills!
In full: The course was described as 'undulating' which in fairness it is.
However there are quite a few hills, not long but short sharp affairs that can take the wind out of your sails if you're not used to them.
However, I thoroughly enjoyed it and even though I did not achieve the time that I wanted I'm sure I'll be back to make sure I do next time.

In short: A little gem!
In full: The wild horses charging across the road right in front of me, made this something special.
Running free in some fantastic scenery.

In short: Well organised, challenging event.
In full: My first ever half marathon in 2003, I was back again this year and be there next year. A lot hillier than many imagine, the stretch from 8-10 miles breaks so many people. Have never run as well as I have hoped to so I'll be back to do better next year. This remains the one I want to beat!
