In short: Was here last year and couldn't resist coming back, fantastic. In full: I ran this race last year and enjoyed it even though it was my first HM. However I have suffered this year with a knee injury (itb) and thought I might not make it this year. Thankfully all came good and I had another fantastic run. This is a lovely run through pretty countryside. Despite what others have said it is predominately flat (I really don't do hills!) just a couple of slightly uphill stretches. Marshalls were great again, laods of encouragement. Great goody bag, love the tech tee. Everything was well organinsed. A huge thankyou to everyone at chipenham harriers and chippenham town. It is a credit to you all. Date of review: September 15, 2009
In short: Good course, excellent organisation In full: An excellent race, very well organised and the just the right size in terms of entry numbers. The course is very good, generally flatish through open countryside for most of the way but between 11 - 12.5 miles it is mostly gently uphill which is tough. Because of this I don't think it's as quick a course as Bath or Bristol. Date of review: September 15, 2009

In short: Chippenham a huge success again In full: I did this race last year and it was probably the best event I've attended. Coming back this year held some risk it could let me down. It didn't! Once again this event was great.
From a runners point of view this event was perfect. Great organisation, groovy, friendly and well organised marshalls, and a really enjoyable course.
I managed a smirk coming into the finish as it seemed the finish announcer name-checked more people than a gangster rapper ;-)
Please don't spoil this event Chippenham by making larger in future years. It is perfect. Many thanks. Date of review: September 15, 2009
