In short: Excellent scenery, excellent running weather, fantastic day
In full: A huge thanks to all the runners I was talking to on my way round. Goes to show that even in a race, most people are there to enjoy themselves. The team spirit amongst runners is immense and keeps you going through those 'sticky patches' where the wheels are about the fall off.. I am pleased and proud to be a member of the running community. Here's to the next race!

In short: A sunny run in the New Forest
In full: A great race. Conditions perfect and well orgainised (apart from a Marshall directing the runner in 2nd place down the wrong turning at the 12 mile marker) Some of the roads went on and on without a corner which made it drag a bit. Mile markers seemed to be out of sync towards the end. Drinks/sponge station helpers done good job. Why no race timer at the front? Crowd very receiptive at the end. Shame the medals did not have 2004 on. Overall though a great race and good atmosphere

In short: Always a classic, with some hill work thrown in!
In full: I enjoyed it, but had some concern around some of the mile markers being out as I ran consistently, but found that I was varying on time. But organised well, plenty of water and sponge stops, and a nice run through the New Forest.... see you next year

In short: Lovely scenery and an interesting course. Bit of a kick in the tail which I'll be better prepared for next time!
In full: Lovely excuse for a weekend in the country. On the day organisation was pretty good though the baggage pick up at the end was a bit poor and the car park queue a bit annoying.

Lovely course well worth the effort though and I will be back to improve on my pedestrian time!

In short: Very easy to summarise the race - This is how you do it.
In full: Given that you cannot close all of the roads in a busy tourist area on a Sunday the organisation is fantastic. My day went like clockwork and as a result I had a much better run than I had expected. Thank you everyone.

In short: This was my first half-marathon and I really enjoyed myself. I didn't find it as difficult as expected and the hills were not that bad.
