In short: Excellent course, friendly marshals, well organised - well done!
In full: With such an early start - it would be nice if there were somewhere open for specatators to have some breakfast / coffee.

In short: very good marathon course. Mildly undulating with great atmosphere. would do it again.
In full: Thoroughly enjoyed this marathon. Route interesting-I've no idea how organisers managed to close so many major roads to cars:well done organisers. Nice medal and long sleeved technical shirt and great goody bag. Atmosphere and support along route-a very well done to everyone in Chester. You've done yourself proud!
Three quibbles:
1. horrendous car park queue before start
2. Needs directional signs within racecourse
3. Marshals within racecourse were really friendly but only new info relating to their station and couldn't answermore general questions.
However, I don't want this to detract from what was a great event and would absolutely recommend it as one to do :-)

In short: well done to the organisers
In full: ok, its not the most scenic run you will
ever do BUT everything else about this race
was in my view excellent. even more so when
you consider it was the first staging.
by comparison this race blew the edinburgh
marathon shambles the week before out of
the water.
nice stadium finish, cracking medal and
t-shirt and a goody bag including haribos !!
(love in a bag, they are)
a shower within 150 yards of the finish line
and parking just up the road, fantastic.
a great day out and defo one for next year.
congratulations again to ALL the organisers
and the volunteers.

In short: Thoroughly Enjoyed it
In full: A big well done to the organisers for the smooth running of this new event.

Had a good time plodding along with my friend.

Made all the more amusing by the complete tosser at the start who whined "Let me through I'm an elite runner"

I did chortle when I heard that.

Apart from that, fantastic.

In short: I loved running this race: well organised, great route, fantastic support
In full: This race could become very popular indeed. The course is a mixture of village and greenway, with some good views of water at halfway. The 'journey' was much enhanced by the support and the frequency of water and sports drinks was a big plus. A great day.
