In full: I was very impressed with the organisation but like others the start could have been better. The route was great but not as flat as we were led to believe.
Lots of water, energy drink and sponge. Great finish. Well done.

I look forward to running the Lichfield 10k in September

In short: good race well run
In full: hi
It was a good race well run for a first time at this distance, there was plenty of water stations and faily good support from the locals, I thought the finish was really well managed but the start area was a bit basic. ( please make sure that the toilet suppliers place the urinals with bit of thought, not as a funnel to the main loos). prizes it would have been nice if some cert or something for best of cat could be given, I won my group, my first ever win at 66 but did not get anything to keep, lots of races do give vets some award. I do hope to be back next year because I did enjoyed the race.

In short: Pretty Country Race
In full: This was very well organised, with lots of super friendly marshalls and lots of local support. Despite the heat, the course was lovely along the country lanes. The finish was well organised, however we waited for 40 mins for a bus back to the start and ended up getting a lift back from a fellow runner (thanks). Liked the medal and goody bag.

In short: Back to my old school after 20 yrs for start. Good course, well marshalled, good support through Whittington, nice out in the country, plenty water, good inward run, great finish! For a 1st effort brilliant and 1000 times better than Birmingham Half

In short: Aside from some really quite small niggles this was an excellent race.
In full: The start was a bit odd but really didn't make any difference. Marshalling was excellent and the course itself was well planned out. It was a little tougher than I had expected but that was no bad thing and the run down at the end was very welcome. The timing chip used was good and the organisers did well to get the results posted quickly. Overall, very impressed.

In short: Well organised and enjoyable race
In full: Good race, well organised. Marshals were plentiful and encouraging (thanks to all for giving up your time).
Weather was hot particularly as got to mid-day. strong wind certainly helped cool things down. Countryside was pleasant. Friendly and supportive crowd particularly at the end - the singing on the approach to the park brought a smile to a tired face.

Not many negatives really. Urinals were handy though could have been more discreetly placed. Start seemed unnecessarily crowded.

All in all very good and intend to be bcd next year

In short: With a few tweaks this would be a great event
In full: Given this was the first running of the event it went very well. Good course over mainly traffic free lanes, excellent marshalling, good finish area and goody bag.
Would echo other comments over the start and number of toilets. Sort these two relatively small points and this could easily become the best half marathon in the West Midlands.
