In short: First time at Tewkesbury and would do it again
In full: I have not done this race before although it is local to me. There is always alot of complaints at any race about toilets! Why do people always decide to leave it till last minute to go! Not great start. I started in the 1.20-1.40 pen and luckily moved to the start line to talk someone before the hooter randomly went off so I got a good start away. Support on the course was actually quite good I thought compared to some races I have done where there is none. I remember the little old couple around 9-10 miles cheering me on from their front door :-) There was plenty of water on way round and was nice it was in bottles. Traffic was not really a problem for me at the end and I thought it was well controlled and the drivers rather patient. Pretty windy at the end but the organisers can not control that. Goody bag was ok. Knocked nearly 2 mins off half time although course was def not flat, more undulating in places. Was it me or was there no 7 mile marker! Overall I enjoyed the race, very pleased with time and will be back next year.

In short: enjoyable run, nice coarse,
In full: only reservations would be as above, lack of toilets, or at least let people know where they are as there was another 11, near the start with no queue? but an enjoyable run.

In short: Not as good as previous years
In full: Definite potential for a PB but possibly not this year with the wind although I was close to mine so it wasn't impossible.
As with every race I've been to, there were queues for the toilets right up until start time, this seems to be standard.
The course was slightly different this year (I did this race in 2008 and 2009) but I don't think it made too much difference. Yes there are a few short inclines (over railways, motorways etc) and one long, gentle hill around 10-11 miles, not as bad as I remember from previous years.
The support was as expected really, patchy but ok. There was a long stretch between 7 and 8 miles down a country lane with an energy sapping road surface that sticks in my memory!
Disappointing that the energy drinks weren't supplied and the goody bag was quite empty but a nice medal.
One of the main irritants now though is that the chip times aren't published and the race website doesn't come up on a Google search.
I think the race has gone slightly down hill this year but it's local so I'll probably do it again.

In short: OK race but didn't enjoy running alongside busy traffic
In full: A fairly flat course that has PB potential given the right ocnditions. The blustery headwind for the last three miles this year made it tough going.
Fairly long stretches of the race were run along roads with busy traffic which wasn't very pleasant. More marshalls and perhaps more traffic restrictions needed next time.
Overall though, it was a well organised, friendly race and I'd consider coming back next year despite it not being very local for me.

In short: A pretty quick course in the right weather
In full: This was my first time at Tewkesbury and I might be back next year. The course is flattish with quite a long uphill stretch around 10 miles (I think). I found the atmosphere at the start fine but no music etc and I didn't hear any start gun. The usual problem of not enough loos. Support was very patchy and there was some beautiful scenery when out in the countryside but pretty dull going through an industrial estate. Had family with me and it was nice that they could go into the town while I was running. Vintage tea room was great apparently and we had a nice pub lunch after - I was surprised not to see more runners out and about after the race.

In short: Busy roads, not very exciting.
In full: Sadly I can't say I enjoyed this race. Lost the will to live after 5 miles around the houses and along the main road - was very noisy. Race lacked the enthusiasm and spirit of a running club organised event. Marshalls not hugely encouraging and general support wasn't great. Wouldn't run again I'm sorry to say.

In short: Nothing Special
In full: An ok race with a route that I would not exactly describe as flat. I guess it does have PB potential though.

The start area had no atmosphere at all and was rather depressing.

This is the 3rd year I have done this race and I think It is time to call it a day on this one. Its not local to me and doesnt really excite me enough to return again in the near future

In short: Good, local half marathon - headwind proved challenging on the last 4 miles!
In full: An ejoyable half-marathon with PB potential. Compared to last year the marshalling seemed half hearted in and around the town towards the end of the race and the facilities / atmosphere at the start was disappointing. Will be back next year though!

In short: It was ok
In full: The start was non event - everybody was lined up in their timed start pens waiting to hear the starter tell them to move forward closer to the start line - but nothing, no announcement, no count down just a hooter sounding in the distance and that was the start, crap really!
Quite marshals and over stretched water stations.
A fairly flat route with some nice support, I would do it again but only because it is relatively local to me.

In short: No dramas, nice enough course.
In full: overall there was nothing to complain about at all. Nothing really to rave about either. As always more toilets needed lol. There was also a bit of a lack of atmosphere at the start and finish, usually a pa system with some music gets everyone going but not here, not even a gun to start.

Well marshalled, thanks guys! A few dicey spots for traffic but plenty of warning signs and the local drivers were very understanding and careful from what I saw. Nice medal again, although the only one I have with no wording on the ribbon, so looks odd with the others lol.

Nice mix of runners, all very friendly, great for beginners and a fun run for any friends not quite up to the half.

Still looking for my energy drink half way lol. Thanks to to the sea cadets for some great organisation, looked smart and disciplined too!

Can't complain, enjoyed the run just lacked the atmosphere of the last one.
