In short: I'd definitely do this one again
In full: Well organised event. Nice country lanes, all closed to traffic. Excellent support around the course, especially in the village of Leigh which we passed through twice (4 and 9 miles). Good start/finish area although possibly congested for those in the middle. Plenty of parking. Great event.

In short: Overall really good. Only gripe was the obsession with going in and out the doors as marked, bizarre.
In full: Support was the best I have seen on this sort of race. Hadn't thought of the road being tight as I was in near the front,but could quite easily have been made double width.
Great to have all the roads closed. I could have done with some energy drink at about 10miles but thats my problem I guess :)

In short: Very well organised run with the added bonus of mostly closed roads to run on. Just a bit tight at the start zones!

In short: Warmer than expected ... weather and reception!
In full: My first half marathon ... in fact my first event of any distance and really enjoyed it.
As has been said it was busy at the start gates and I had to spend a good mile and a half dodging my way to the others running my pace.
Fantastic reception in Leigh which really gave us a boost at the right times. Also the crowds at the start / finish were great.
My only grumble is, given the hot day, another water station after (or during!) the hill at 11 miles would have been appreciated.
Would definitely come back again next year.
