In short: Quality field quality race but absoloutely brass monkeys!!
In full: My first race in 4 months although my 12th race of the year and well worth turning up for.
One little gripe a momento would have been nice however the positives far outweigh the negatives. Very well organised very enthusiastic marshals ( particularly the lady jumping up and dowm clapping near the end!!)and a PB for me by 18 seconds 33.17.
A lot of quality runners at this well established race but a good mix of abilities meant that although I was not the first I was also far from being the last. A nice course predominantly flat with great PB potential. It was also absoloutely freezing with the temp not far above zero. But a good race well worth the effort.

In short: great 'no frills' winter race
In full: I loved the fact that this was an afternoon event + it was as flat as a pancake, knocked around 40 seconds off my pb - so that makes me very smiley :)

In short: good race for pb, not too many pub runners (sorry fun-runners)
In full: good quick course, with plenty of club runners making it competitive, nice to have a road race not swamped in fun runners

In short: Bit expensive for a small bottle of water and chip timing(we've all got watches). Momento would have been nice.

In short: hoping for a following wind next year :)
In full: well as said nice flat course well organised run just need a calmer or more helpful wind :)

250ml water and no momento pays for chipped timing with instant results i guess better than another t shirt but something little would be nice also porta loos at start would be good but still good overall

In short: Fast course At £10 to enter on day a bit expensive.
In full: Good course PB chance, Results available straight away. Bad points If you enter on day was very expensive and limited parking and facilities poor no where to buy even a cup of coffee Special thanks to marshalls for standing In the cold.

In short: Flat race around Willen lake.
In full: It's around a lake. This should be enough to tell you it's going to be windy - and that's the thing that costs PBs on this course. Otherwise a well organised club race. Fairly deep prize list (top 10 senior men) ensures a decent field.

In short: Well organised event with definitie pb potential.
In full: Nice to be able to get official time quickly at the end. The start was more a whimper than a bang. the few locals braving the cold wind for a saturday walk were friendly enough.
