In short: A very good race thats to be done for the day out rather than any expectation of a PB.
In full: Dorking has it in for me. Last year the hills surprised me and this year the heat got me Beau Geste style. I keep returning in the hope that one year I will beat Dorking. There's lots of friendly runners, the cakes and coffee at the clubhouse where welcome and the T shirt even suits me.

Please next year can I get a decent time!

In short: Some difficult hill sections just before the finish which combined with the heat drained all my energy#

In short: What a Scorcher!!!
In full: Still sitting in an ice bath 12 hours later. Lovely race. Great organisation. Yes, my published finished time also seemed to be a few seconds out. Maybe the time clock expanded in the heat! Maybe could have done with some extra water stations in the circumstances though arrangements were made to distribute emergency water supplies around the course. Perhaps the interaction with vehicles needs to be watched in a couple of places, particularly at the end- but don't want to detract from what is a great race.

In short: An enjoyable race in the heat
In full: It was a very warm morning and so quite a challenge. The course is undulating, but very enjoyable, and the scenary is fantastic.

Very well organsied and well marshalled.

In short: Well organised, lovely views and excellent start/finish area.
In full: Not the easiest 10 miler you will ever do but a lovely route and very well organised. An excellent off-road finish area for anybody spectating. Not sure about singing the National anthem at the start but it only added to the day! Definitely a race worth doing.
