In short: Hilly at the start, but worth it for the downhill.

In short: relaxed and competitive, good mix!
In full: First time running this and wasn’t sure about racing on Remembrance Sunday but the organizers were suitably respectful with a moving minutes silence. Good course and great atmosphere throughout. Thank-you to all the organizers and also to the other racers, don’t normally race on my own but you were a really friendly bunch.

In short: A lovely run, and surprisingly quick for a hilly one
In full: I really enjoyed this. The long uphill 4K slog is richly rewarded with 2k of hurtling downhill. Well done to the friendly, helpful firemen and marshalls, and shame on the portaloo company for their failure. Perhaps they could be encouraged to make a donation to the charity as compensation?

In short: A big hill but still a PB course!
In full: Once again broke my PB in this race - how low can it go? Nothing quite compares to barreling down the long slope at 4K and it sets you up for the final push. Many thanks to the organisers.

In short: A good race
In full: A good race with a challenging first half. However, what goes up must come down! Could have done with a few marshals stopping traffic by the leasure centre and a pretty poor medel. All in all, though, a great local run.
