In short: killer hill
In full: Great race, fantastic views, fantastic support on route. Killer hill but as expected will be back next year and beat the hills. Downside the start was a bit chaotic and for the price disappointed no medal and no chip timing, it was the organisers first time at this race so maybe next year it'll be sorted otherwise an excellent day.

In short: Take Your Time and you`ll be fine!
In full: For the first 6 miles leading up to the mountain i got over taken alot and i knew they would wear themselves down by the middle part so just kept to a solid 8 minute mile pace and overtook about 25 runners going up the "hill"
fantastic race and my first half.love it!

In short: Killer hill in the middle
In full: As I was climbing up the very steep hill I thought never again but this morning I'm thinking well I would probably give it another go now I know whats in the middle I can prepare better. I'd put more water stations around and better cups to drink from a foil top is a real faf when your trying to keep up the pace. Marshall's were great well done on this first half in a very pretty part of the world.
