In short: One of my favourites events
In full: I thought last year`s 6 mile race was good, the 10 was even better. Great event, with the `village fete` feel which is taking nothing away from the event. Good course with plently of well supported water stations (thanks). Good support with throughout the course. Good scenery. Well done Hook - another cracker. Same time next year??

In short: Family and beginner friendly
In full: Only bad point was at about 7 miles you join runners doing 6 mile fun run/race and it tends to disrupt the flow of the 10 mile race. Otherwise very well done to everyone.

In short: Excellent all-round
In full: Well organised, parking close to start, efficient bag storage, scenic route for the most part, fairly flat, encouraging marshalls and good support at the finish. Highly recommended. Oh, and got a PB!

In short: Good organisation,nice course - well worth doing
In full: A well organised,friendly run.The course is a bit challenging in places and really isn't a Pb course but it's friendly,well marshalled and a lot of fun!I'll be back.....

In short: Excellent organisation and a lovely run
In full: My first time at hook and I was daunted by the limited number of runners (why is it so small?) but there is lots of support and the man on the mike celebrated all finishers with equal enthusiasm. PB potential is limited unless you're veyr quick off of the mark because there are stretches where it is difficult to pass people. Excellent marshalling and really lovely scenery, a few challenging hills = a really good event in the calendar. If I'd change 1 thing it'd be the finish. Too much "traffic" (10k finishers and faster 10m finishers) walking away from the race as you come in. Dodging them after 9.8 miles is not ideal.
