In short: A late change to the route but still as good as last year. A really special race and one I hope to do again next year

In short: Fab fun in the mud.
In full: After all those tarmac thumping 10k's this one is a real shot in the arm. The week's rain beforehand made it just perfect, anything else wouldn't have been suicide, and the organisation is sufficiently relaxed to be a snub of the nose to health and safety gestapo. Well done all involved.

In short: Great race. Good friendly atmosphere, challenging course and don't forget the mud!
In full: Brilliant race. Always a challenge and the race atmosphere is great. Good marshalling and plenty of spectators to laugh at you as you fall in the river!

In short: harder than average challenging x country
In full: Some really great tracks and the course was great. Would have liked to see more water crossings, as was a bit tame!!!
Winning times showed that its not on par with some of the really tough/ suicidal courses out there. Some of the bottle necks made getting a rhythm hard, but thats life. Couldnt here the organisers at the start.
Great marshals though and the steps at the end were painful and the end was uplifting. Well done to all that finished, some very good times.

In short: Very muddy & wet,but great fun a break from the norm of a road race, the course is varying with hills, steps and the odd tree to climb over and the water crossing was great fun.
