In short: Great for first time half marathon
In full: Great atmosphere and scenery. Organisation was pretty slick, especially drink stations and finish. Only complaint was some mile markers were either missing or easy to miss, especially the ones near the end.

In short: well organised. great support.well worth doing
In full: There did not seem to be any marker at 11 miles which was off putting. The organisers had listened to gripes from previuos year and could see none of the crowding problems at the start or access problems to the race village that they had last year. Well worth doing although the cobbles at 12 miles were a bit hard on the legs.

In short: Good venue for first time half-marathoners.
In full: After the initial concerns over late arrival of Packs i and my partner thoroughly enjoyed this race. I managed to miss some of the mile markers (were they there?) but other than this i found the organisation to be first rate. I feel that the organisers have taken on board the concerns expressed by runners in previous years and have done all they can to rectify the matters.
Although i cannot compare this race with other half marathons, if they are all as good as this i can't wait for the next!!

In short: Excellent Organisation
In full: One of the best half marathons I have completed. Great organistaion, drinks, support from the crowd and funnelling at the end. I clocked 13.43 miles and the cobbles and slight rises were not very pleasant after 10 miles. But thoroughly enjoyed it.

In short: Cracking race
In full: Really nice race, good start with staggered start. but who put cones down the middle of the road on the blue start!!! For the first mile it was a case of getting through the slower runners who's aspirations dont match their pace. fast first 6 miles then a few twists and turns in town with good crowd support.
Thanks to the Army cadets who were out in strength at the drinks stations and the marshalls along the route.
I reccommend it.

In short: lovely race with a special atmosphere
In full: this was a very large race ut there were adequate drink and sport drink stations. The funnelling after the finish line was done very well. There were adequate toilets along the route ut a few more after the 10 mile mark would e appreciated. Decent goodies at the end and the space blanket was appreciated. More toilets at the start would make the race great
