In short: Ultimate FLM 'warm-up'
In full: I did this race so I didn't have to do my LSR by myself, and it did not fail to dissapoint me. Good atmosphere among runners (although a shame that the event cannot take on more runners). Drink stations a bit sporadic but I walked through them and took 2 drinks, of which there were plenty. Route directions on course the best I have ever seen. Fantastic location and scenery!

To the organisers: couldn't hear the loudspeaker at start at all. And I was at the front! Amazed that I did not see a first aid station in all 21 miles! Please give some extra goodies/treats on completion. I mean you do 21M then all you get is a medal. Even a blister plaster would be nice!

To other runners: some of you guys (and a mean a minority) are an absolute disgrace to the sport by chucking used energy gels in the bushes and around the countryside etc. Just put them in you pocket!Throwing it away by drinks stations is fine, but even if the marshalls do go round the course picking up litter (which i am sure they do) you cannot expect them to find all of them. I dont want to see this again; its pathetic.

Despit the above, thanks to organisers and marshalls. Great fun! Great job! Could well be back!
