In short: weather couldn't dempen good spirits
In full: Well set out - completing first longer (9m) lap gave big boost to address second and third 6 milers.

Many thanks to encouraging marshals- who must have been colder than us.

In short: Perfect marathon preparation
In full: Really well organised race, excellent signs and cheerful marshalls and water station people, lots of local support too. Most people at my end of the field were using it as a training run rather than a race, which made for a super-friendly atmosphere amongst the runners.
A few impatient drivers around but the junctions were well marshalled.
Perhaps required a few more toilets at the start?

In short: Hats off to the marshalls who make it all worthwhile running.
In full: Hideous race for me as just recovering from a virus so hadn't really run for three weeks, but the enthusiasm of all the marshalls was fantastic - also my running partner who dragged me, literally for the last 3 miles! Hope FLM is kinder to me!
