In short: well organised and friendly race
In full: Agree with other posts - easy to park, friendly marshalls and great support from other runners made it an enjoyable run. The hill at mile 15 and 20 miles keep you focused! Well done to all involved

In short: Well organised - makes an ideal training run
In full: A well-organised event which provides an ideal pre-marathon training session. Very much a runners' event with no gimmicks but adequate parking, a very scenic course and helpful marshalling makes the 21 miles go by surprisingly easily. The 9 + 6 + 6 mile laps format helps chunk the distance up nicely. Good and supportive atmosphere on the course from the other runners.

In short: Friendly - Well Organised - What gives running a good name!
In full: Excellent organisation is just what you want to start with and this race has it. From the coffee lady in the band hall (my thanks for a lovely mug), the race marshall, the course marshals, drink station helpers to all the runners who seem to treat this race as something special. Respect was shown by all who ran to others, great encouragement by those who had finished to those finishing and whilst the hill at 14 & 20 miles is a tad challenging overall this race is one you want to come back to.

In short: Brilliantly organised, beautiful and challenging. Try it, you'll like it!
In full: This is a perfect pre-London/Brighton/Paris training run. There's a nine mile loop followed by a 6 mile one (with the option to finish at 15 miles, which you can decide mid-race), which then repeats. I found this a real psychological plus that helped me get through the 21. Course was beautiful, marshals all smiling and encouraging, plenty of parking and facilities at start/finish, lots of support from other runners. A sunny day and a sunny atmosphere. Thumbs up to Mabac for a very smoothly run event, thank you.

In short: Excellent course with very friendly and encouraging marshals.
In full: Tough distance but the format which finishes with two six-mile loops really helps keep motivation. There aren't many 21 mile races so this has definite PB potential! Lots of lovely scenery. Very well organised with plenty of water stations and jelly babies along the way. Overall, very enjoyable!

In short: Great value for money and testing course
In full: A brilliant pre marathon race. Tough course, especially the hill at mile 20. Friendly marshalls, great support from runners that had already finished and a lovely low key atmosphere meant I could get training miles in without feeling pressured to produce a great time (which I didn't!). Thank you and see you next year.

In short: Lovely scenery, lovely weather and very friendly
In full: A really enjoyable race, the scenery was lovely, the route was fairly undulating and the marshalls were helpful and friendly. It was also nice to have encouragement from the other runners! A good pre marathon run, and we couldn't have asked for better weather :)
