In short: Definitely 'bigger' this year in numbers and atmosphere, despite the rain. Start too small and congested, would be better on the Headrow. Brave wheelchair racer had to struggle on uneven pavement with runners in bottleneck near Lawnswood School.

In short: Great organisation, excellent stewards, good crowd, not son fab scenery b
In full: Faultless organisation, tons of drink stations, friendly crowds, helpful stewards-what more could you ask for?
A few long hills-which isn't necessariy a bad thing-and the scenery is maybe what you would expect from running around Leeds-but an extremely enjoyable race. i will do it again for sure....and thanks to all the volunteers who handed out drinks etc in the pouring rain.
Next year maybe the local shopping centres near the start won't close their toilets -the only draw back of the day)

In short: Shame about the rain...and my time
In full: 10 minutes slower than 2005 but still enjoyed myself. Done it for the past few years and am now starting to enjoy the hilly bits. It still has one of the best finishes going past the town hall and the incentive for anyone wanting under 2 hours - Can you finish before the noon chimes?

In short: Excellent organisation
In full: A very good race, superbly organised every year. This is how a race with big corporate backing should work unlike the Shell Helsby half which was shabby at best.

In short: Sent me the wrong chip
In full: Well organised overall, with drinks stations a plenty, would give it a far better score but they sent me the wrong chip, relegating me on the initial results from a time of 1:15 to 1:46, so not best pleased with that, and have yet to respond upon me querying it.

In short: Well organised, challenging race.
In full: Pretty much uphill for the start, but gets easier, watch out for the hill climb in last 1/2 mile

In short: I love this race
In full: The one that first hooked me for 1/2M and above, this will always have a special place in my heart. The start/finish organisation were vastly improved so well done on that. Could have done with pens all the way up to 2 hours though, not just 1.35. Not the easiest and Leeds city council needs to resurface the pavement on the Kirkstall road or someone is going to sue them over a busted ankle sooner or later, but overall a good experience. Nice to do it in the rain on a relatively cool day as it has a reputation for sweltering heat most years.

In short: Hilly & wet but knocked 15 mins off my PB !!!
In full: First half was hilly but second was more flat / downhill. Some of the pavements left a little to be desired, some plesant scenery (some not quite so) - notable some of the best scenery was combined with the hills ! Definately a challenge on a damp Sunday morning, but well organised and pleasant company.
