In short: Classic and challenging cross country running in a lovely area. Well signed and organised. Great marshalls and great cakes.
In full: My first Rough N Tumble. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Congratulations to all involved in its organisation. Demanding course, trail or fell shoes de riguer. Think road half marathon time for this ten and a bit miler.
Really impressed with the marshalls and very clear signage.
Perhaps the baggage tent was over-faced with the number of runners, but that's a tiny gripe.
Many thanks. Now for the Terminator.

In short: A great early-year mud run, very enjoyable.
In full: Great atmosphere, loads of marshals and well orchestrated parking. Hot drinks and a seemingly endless supply of cake. One exceptionally steep hill which is a bit 'tricky' but gives you a sense of achievment after. A great race again this year - well done Steve and Marshals.

In short: Prospect of fantastic cakes at finish helped me drag myself up those hills. d
In full: Great race, mud made it even tougher than usual, quite a few were 'tumbling'. But then, you know it'll be hard when the race organiser's pre-race briefing describes the course conditions as 'abysmal'.

Only slight niggle was queueing for bags at the end in the strong wind but that's just me being a bit picky.

Overall, a fab race, well done to Steven Goulding, the cheery marshalls and especially the cake bakers. See you next year.
