In short: Good local race with friendly atmosphere
In full: Fun starting and ending on track. Nice route with bit off road and in park and gently undulating in parts. Some bits quite pretty. Group warm-up before start and although pretty damp day still very good turn out and encouragement for slower runners.

There was some confusion as despite lots of marshalls there were some points where route wasn't clear. Apparently some went wrong and there was some contention over 2nd place as believed not everyone did same route! Shame as otherwise v.well organised. Will do again.

Good cake stall with all money going to charity.

In short: Friendly, well organised race with cakes afterwards!
In full: Good course on and off road with a bit of everything:- road, park and cross country nice and flat so good time possible but can be muddy in places to slow you down. Friendly and well organized great for both club and recreational runners. Good facilities and the cake stall a nice bonus!

In full: Good extras to race - childrens races and soft play plus much mentioned cakes! Bum bag instead of t-shirt made a nice change. Well done to the organisers.
