In short: It was my first proper race and I loved it! Scenery wasn't the best...but what can you expect - its Derby! Brilliant finish in the stadium though. Very well organised, and a great atmosphere, felt like a big occasion.

In short: Good fun, well worth it for locals. Has that 'big race' feel you only usually get with half marathon and above.
In full: Good points: Excellent atmosphere, good for beginners, amazing finish in the stadium, good parking, good marshals. Bad points: I take a split every KM and I know my pace well enough to know that some of the markers are way off! Course isn't the best, i don't mind hills but there were too many sharp corners. The sub 50m pace guy went out as fast as the sub 45 guys then tailed off to a 48 ish, if anyone was following it might not have been the best race plan..

In short: This is my third year doing this run and this was the best organised yet.
In full: The course had once again been changed which made the course more undulating than previous years. All in all though a well organised race.

In short: Always a great atmosphere - nice T-Shirt
In full: Second time in my local 10k and the course was much hillier than last year (5 hills in 6k). The chosen route was not the most flattering of Derby but the great atmosphere, good organisation and run-in at Pride Park were worth it. Weather kept away the usual supporters and my time suffered. I agree with comments about the twisting course and questionable length affecting times.
