In short: What you can expect from Luton
In full: Really poor food stations. It's a marathon one cup of really really really weak energy drink every four miles is never really going to get you round or help you out when you hit the wall.

In short: Organised like clockwork, well worth the trip
In full: Very enjoyable, had an awful run but still had a smile on my face.
The course is definately PB able, although the wind into your face up hills makes it tough. So it's not the course it's the wind that can runin the pb chance.
Great value race, with a hall to wait in, good medal, snack in goody bag, hot showers and changing rooms. Sure I'll be back next year

In short: Great organisation, weird course, glad the rain stopped just before (wish the wind had!)
In full: Really good marshalling and organisation - hat's off to Elaine in particular.

I found the course a bit of a curate's egg - good in parts! The narrow pavement about 2/3 in the lap caused me a few problems overtaking on the last lap, especially as there was a fair few folks earing earphones who couldn't hear me aproaching.

I agree that it's a bit cruel to have to go up the hill to the race HQ at the end!

Anyone looking for the memento - take a look at the eco bag! Quite nice I thought...

In short: Best Marshalls ever! Wish they could have got the wind to change direction though!
