In short: Well-organised, glorious weather, shame about my race plan really!! Recommended In full: What can you say? The weather was ideal, the scenery is beautiful, tho' not as many loch views as you would imagine, the 'flat/undulating' classification belies some short, sharp uphills, some tough downhills and a couple of killers between 17 and 21 miles. Be warned, the fast start can fool you - badly. Trust me, I know. This was painful. On the whole, though, Baxters do an excellent job of organisation and the support through the villages and once back into Inverness is terrific. Do it!! Date of review: October 5, 2004
