In short: You just wish for a flat section after a while but a stunning route
In full: Could have done with a better map of Worksop as we couldn't find the Town Hall but once there everything went smoothly. Good changing facilities and a reasonable amount of toilets. Looking forward to next year.

In short: Another great Worksop Half Marathon
In full: This was my 2nd time doing this race and I really enjoyed it (despite my time being slower than last year, oops!)

It is hillier than I remembered, which makes it a little challenging on the legs. Great atmostphere and lovely scenery - loved the llamas!

A good race for non club runners as there were people of all abilities.

Very well organised - registration was smooth, with no queues. Could have done with more ladies loos, although that's a perennial race problem isn't it!

In short: Fantastic! I would not miss this race for anything!
In full: Great organization, beautiful scenic course through Clumber Park, traffic free roads with well manned drink stations. Fantastic atmosphere – they even had a brass band at halfway round! To top it all off there was even a downhill finish, well filled goody bag with well designed technical T! If only other races were this good!! The only problem is I’m not getting any youger!!

Well gone Worksop – can’t wait for next year

In short: Enjoyable race, well worth the entry fee
In full: This was one race too far for me this year (debut marathon and 6 other halves) and even though I was disappointed with my 1h24, I don't want that to cloud my review of a very enjoyable and well organised race.

The course is varied, undulating (hillier than I remembered!) and suitably challenging to make for an interesting run. The final mile downhill into town is great and the support at the finish (and throughout Clumber Park) is good.

The goody bag was probably the best I've had all year and the Technical T-Shirt is a nice touch (it will get used, rather than being left in a drawer!).

I'll definitely be entering again next year and would recommend it to others.
