In short: The muddiest Slog I've done yet!
In full: Well done Bitton on putting this all together in difficult circumstances. The forced route changes actually worked really well. There was one big bottle neck and I did get quite cold standing around for 15 minutes or so but other than that a great job.
Friendly marshalls, happy runners and most people not taking it too seriously make this a great event for any standard of runner.
Super value too, with a great goody bag.
Glad I did n't have to clean the showers afterwards!

In short: Thought I might go bog-snorkelling at one point!
In full: A "mudified" route to last year's but still great fun. Gloopy mud was hilarious. Fantastic goody bag at the end - great value. Lovely race for those who don't take their running too seriously (like me!)

In short: Probably the most enjoyable horrible race you will ever do.
In full: Excellent, silly fun. There were a few bottle knecks but I did not mind as the chances of a PB were slim at best! Thanks for a great day.

In short: Mudtastic fun!!!
In full: As always, a superbly organised race. Marshalls unfailingly smiley, supportive, friendly and all-round good eggs. Great atmosphere, loved the ditches and soupy mud, even the silage (bring it on!!). Just the best fun! Bring on next year's race!!! Thank you, Bitton Road Runners, for the most fun you can have on a Sunday morning with your clothes on :-)

In short: Mudtastic!!
In full: After a forced change of route many frowns have been turned upside down with the fantastically well thought out new route :) Still a bottle neck at just over half way but the mexican waves and jovial chat helped pass the wait before the big plunge into waist deep muddy (??!!) water!

Smooth organisation at the start, baggage and the finish and 2 thumbs up for the goody bag - chocolate, bannana, drink and of corse the Slog t-shirt! Fantastic value.

A HUGE well done and thank you to Bitton Road Runners and Gordon Robbins!
