In short: Equal parts mud and fun.
In full: Really enjoyed this year's Slog, it's always a favourite race. Very friendly, very challenging and extremely muddy. Plus a lovely Tshirt!

In short: This race is a must in anyones calendar
In full: Probably the best Slog i've done, I have never run it wearing sunglasses before - the weather definately helped keep you warm in between the dips in ditches, bogs and dips! I love this race, the people, the terrain and the mud - brilliant!

In short: Great fun muddy event - recommended
In full: This legendary event is all it's cracked up to be.
A race of friendly and helpful runners, excellently organised and marshalled by the friendly and helpful Bitton Road Runners and crew, what more could you want?
Mud? Yup got that.... a fair bit of marshy stuff
Hills? At least one to challenge any tired legs.
Confused cow? Yup a few of them.
Certainly enough entertainment to keep you amused on an autumnal morning.

In short: Someone told me it was a flat road race....
In full: Hats off to Bitton Road Runners (although there was precious little "road" in the slog!) for organising such a superb event.
This isnt a race where you can think about a PB, this isnt a race where having the newest kit matters - this is a stripped down, the reason we run sort of race and long may it continue!
