In short: You've got to do it !!! In full: Judging by the finishing times of the first runners back there must have been some serious runners in this race. But, in the main, everybodybody who I bumped into was there to have a "fun" time. Never before have I queued for 20 minutes to take a 10 minute walk in a ditch. I'm doing it again next year, make sure you do too :-D Date of review: November 14, 2005

In short: Very muddy and much fun, but bottlenecks hinder progress and PB! In full: They must remove the ditch section near the start next year. Over 1,000 runners funnelling into single file meant at least a 20 minute delay for most. Date of review: November 14, 2005

In short: A mix of incredible fun and moderate chaos In full: Most of us didn't know that the race had started and I felt that 10 minutes thigh deep in a ditch full of slurry watching hundreds take an unauthorized short cut wre the down sides. The glorious wather and the psychotic route planning more than made up for it once I had decided that this wasn't a race but an experience ! Date of review: November 13, 2005

In short: Fantastic 1st multi terrain In full: Was worried at the start (everyone looked fitter, better prepared and more confident than myself) however i need not have worried it was a great experience. The marshalls were friendly and encouraging. Will deffinately return for more of the same next year. Date of review: November 13, 2005

In short: Women pay to bathe in this stuff apparently!! In full: What a great laugh. Mud, sweat and beers! Only down point was the wait at the first ditch. 2 min silence was good at start. I'll be back next year Date of review: November 13, 2005

In short: it doesn't get much better than this. muddy fields, muddy water and beautiful sunshine. In full: A bit of a quick start, not everyone was out of the school gates before the the horn blew. Quite a big bottle neck along the stream to the step up into the lane(a couple of miles in) but apart from that it was an excellent race, many thanks. Date of review: November 13, 2005

In short: Very good as usual. Water wetter, mud mudder than ever. In full: This is a regular in my calendar due to the atmosphere on Remembrance Day. The gridlock at the first ditch was frustrating but did not distract from a great day out. Date of review: November 13, 2005

In short: Simply putting it...............Awesome!! lots and lots and lots of fun. Loads of variety mud, water, bales. In full: As a note to the organisation; everything fine except the quing in the stream took quite a while, with many a impatient person climbing fences etc. Date of review: November 13, 2005
