In short: Stonkin'
In full: My first race ever! Brilliant organisation, loved the mud, cow dung and watery mire. The fact I was overtaken by a man dressed as a banana didn't matter. What a right laugh it was. When can I register for next year?

In short: What a blast! This Slog first timer will be a second timer next year...
In full: How could anyone not enjoy this - got all the mud you could want - more I hear you say? OK then ... - scenery is great, course was varied and interesting (apart from the underpass but hey...) and everyone was having a laugh - brilliant! Superbly marshalled and organised so a big thanks to all "behind the scenes". Now where do I sign for 2008 .....

In short: Excellent race, very friendly and supportive marshalls and a beautiful countyside!
In full: My first Slog and despite finding it very hard (very tough hills) I will be definately doing it next year. Without the doubt the best marshalls ever! Loved every bit of it and please please open the entries for the next year :)

In short: A great experience, highly recommended.
In full: No problems from the road signs on the way into Chipping Sodbury to great organisation throughout. Enthusiastic marshals and spectators all the way. Tough course, especially the swampy bits but not too daunting. The hot tubs at the finish were a great idea, superb T-shirt. Can't think of anything to fault it, apaprt from the steps from the underpass near the end! I'd recommend it to anyone who fancies an invigorating change from a standard distance road race. The best fun I've had running in ages.

In short: Fun Fun And More Fun
In full: Brilliant organisation. only more mud would have made this more fun !! but you cant have it all. Will be back again next year, maybe a black tee shirt next year???, White and mud dont go.

The two minute silence was very well observed.

In short: Brilliant fun, looking forward to next year!
In full: Loads of muddy fun! Marshals were excellent (and plenty of them), especially the ones with the jelly beans... :)
I'm really looking forward to next year, this is how a MT race should be. Thanks Bitton!

In short: Quite simply great fun
In full: Ok, so it was far too dry this year but you can't have it all! Brilliantly organised and marshalled as ever and just not an event to be taken seriously. I think we need judges for the diving contestants at the muddy bits!
