In short: An ice-bath and mud-pack without the faff of a spa
In full: Not for the faint-hearted, this is an awesome epic of mud, water and fun over 9.5 miles of contageous good-cheer and slippery run-fun.
The 2 minute remembrance silence to start the race is a touching beginning and the course is designed to be fun and challenging. Some in fancy-dress, some first timers and some forever mourning lost trainers, this isn't a course for PBs, but definitely one to remember!

In short: Good venue for taking the girlfriend on a first date ! LOL !
In full: Great fun, and mildly tough ! The pig trough seems to get some of the mud off, then go across the last field which is tough but hilarious ! Cant wait till next year !

In short: Muddier than last year - Great!
In full: My second Slog and enjoyyed it very much. Plenty of the advertised mud, and good conditions for the race. Support for most of the route and great organisation by Bitton.

Seemed harder than last year, maybe the mud slowed me down a little.

Roll on 2011

In short: Smiling, but good bye to my muddy kit!
In full: Great race. Well organised. Felt appreciative to be running after the 2 minute silence pre race. Good facilities, lots of portaloos. Really good fun atmosphere. Friendly. Race itself is really hard work, lots of mud, hills, water and a few fun obstacles. Makes you wonder why spend a fortune on hyped up races like the hellrunner when great value muddy challenges like this are around at half the price.

In short: A great day out
In full: A Sodbury Virgin! Thoroughly enjoyed the whole day. Marshaling superb, jelly babies and jelly beans a nice touch.
Only concern was the PA system before the race and when results were announced, couldn't hear anything. Maybe the horn could be sounded to get peoples attention before making the announcements?
Well done Bitton!!
