In short: Great PB race
In full: I like this 10k for it's promise of speed, but it's a good job you are running fast as there isnt much to look at.
I was a little disappointed this year that the t-shirts were posted out before the race. One of the things I really enjoy about finishing a race is getting the t-shirt to say 'I've done it' and then changing into it (because it's dry and it's a good way to get warm again) and you can see all the others proudly wearing their t-shirts at the finish. I know the organisers probably hoped that by posting them everyone would turn up in them on the day and it would make for good photos, but that doesnt really happen, most people want to wear their club colours or charity tops, or even just their 'lucky' shirt...
Let's have the t-shirt at the end next year, after I've finished and 'earned' it :o)

In short: Fantastic race. PBs for most people in my run club.
In full: I have done this race a few times now. In fact it was my very first one so is special to me :) It is a busy race, but well organised. Definite PB course - I beat my time last year by 5 mins. If you put your mobile number on the entry form you were texted your time a few minutes after you finished too which was a nice touch. See you next year.

In short: Dull!
In full: I don't know why I keep doing this race, it is dull, congested at the start the only good thing is it is flat and fast. It was a cold day and ideal for running but it still doesn't lift the spirits.

In short: Congested start area, straight/flat/PB course
In full: Entered this as fastest course in Uk, no one mentionjed the downhill bit at the start that was a climb in the end!! Good straight course, only the U turn at 5k was a turn. Cold morning, fine when racing, just some info for car parking/maps would be helpfull for us travelling and not knowing Leeds. Enjoyable race.

In short: great race
In full: actually prefer this race to Leeds 10k, its less crowded, more about "runners", and i prefer the route and scenery. from near the back it felt a bit like we were racing cars by the end. took nearly 10mins to get through start too, not sure they had the signs correct, only about 20 people after the "sub-60" sign!

In short: If it wasn't in Leeds and flat it wouldn't be worth doing!.
In full: Theres nothing actually wrong with this race but i find it hard to love it, the start is a bit too congested, the support peters out almost straight away, the scenery isn't that great apart from the start middle and end. However its flattish and a definite PB attempt race and its in Leeds which is a great place to visit.

In short: well organised, sometimes clogged slowing the pace but flat and fast!!
In full: turned up, warmed up, then srarted running. easy as that! Narrow lanes sometimes slowed everything up - like the water just after a u-turn!!. Could also do with no cars.
but overall very enjoyable, i travelled from cumbria and will definatly do it again next year and reccommend it to any level of runner!
