In short: Hilly but pretty
In full: Overall good fun and great weather. Water statiosnwere porrly marked and the start gets a bit compressed with people jostling a bit.

In short: Overall a good race. I didn't enjoy so much at the end though as we strode accross suburban areas.

In short: PB in glorious weather - bring on the hills!
In full: I could not fail to enjoy this race in glorious February weather. Conditions were perfect, the pace was quick and the hills were nowhere near as bad as billed in previous reviews. Good spirit on route - we even joked about having a pint as we went past one scenic village boozer!
Just one slight niggle - the water stations could have been better organised.

In short: I need more hill training!!!!
In full: The organisation was really first class, from parking, changing, toliets and the start. First 3 miles or so is a little 'busy' for my liking - but that is personal to me rather than a relfection on the race.

The hills are a challenge - but then I went hard at every single one. My legs called time just short of 12 miles forcing me to walk for a minute, but managed to remainder okay. The run through the park is deceiving, because the finish seems close at hand and it's not!

this was a PB for me by 8 1/2 minutes, so I'm well pleased. Definately run this in 2007 it's a good fitness test.

Personally I would prefer a medal to a t-shirt, but that is me.

Would I recommend Watford - absolutely enter NOW.

In short: Enjoyable, and in my experience very well organised, although a timing chip would have been good.

In short: Great race, well orgainsed as usual
In full: Fantastic organisation as always along with perfect running conditions made a great event. Some of the best marshalls around and the organisers had thought of everything.

Am amazed at some of the comments though:
Some races give T-shirts, some medals. This one is T-shirts as stated on event details. Water was as per event details if not slightly better.
Refreshments were available in the college canteen.
Finish line was obvious to me - just beyond start line with clock and "FINISH" banner.
Timing chips cost money - most people have perfectly good watches to do their own.

Finally, tip for you next year - there are so many different toilets in the college, there is always one set that very few people find even though they are signposted. Both M & F had no queues at 10 a.m....

In short: Good race to test your fitness
In full: Overall I thought the race course was a good test, nice number of hills.

Only a couple of areas I would improve on....

Medal rather than t-shirt
I can't remember seeing two mile markers (11 and 8)
more people on the water stations

Was a pretty good race
