In short: Joyous
In full: Having ran sub 3 hours at Abingdon last week, nearly dieing of boredom in the process, this made all the training worth while.I had intended to just do 12 miles and pull out at Bedgellert but the support was as good as the weather and scenery.I ran the whole bloody thing in 3.46 my slowest ever but easily my most gratifying. This race is simply the best marathon in the world.Jeff Mason

In short: Pleased to finish in under 5hrs on tough event after minimal training. Fantastic support on route and excellent marshalling. Now need to try a flat one to improve my time.

In short: Excellent despite injury
In full: walked the last 7 miles due to injury in my knee, having started well.

HUGE big thanks to Ben who walked alongside me and kept my chin up for the last few miles and helped me stop groaning!

What an experience.

In short: Superb race, great weather, new finish was an improvement over meandering around Llanberis
In full: A great race that made some improvements with the finishing stretch. However, could be an accident waiting to happen on the roads as runners weaved from apex to apex of the corners with little regard for traffic (myself included) but everyone in vechiles seem to be expecting it and were tolerant with it. Will be back next year. A T shirt or medal would go nice with the coaster though.

In short: Great race - never dull - spectacular scenery
In full: Blue sky, hills, mountains, beautiful autumn colours, lakes, mountain streams, terrific support, lots of drink stations with mars bars, 8 mile descent from Pen-Y-pass through the trees; I'll definitely do it next year. Probably the best marathon in the world.

In short: Bloody Brilliant
In full: You will struggle to find a batter race of any distance anywhere in the UK.
It baffles me why people make such a fuss about FLM and GNR when there is a race such as this out there.
This is the only definite race on my calendar each year.
Bring on 2007!

In short: Not for the faint hearted, but a day to remember - just don't even think about the time.
In full: Extremely friendly race with the expected gradients of Snowdonia. Definitely need to take it easy early on to save energy for the brutish end. Gives you a real buzz when you finish.
