In short: Excellent organisation, great marshals, quick course
In full: A really well organised marathon, on a fast and flat course with definite PB potential. Mile markers were accurate throughout - apart, possibly from the first mile, as every mile from there on came about 250m past the mile point on the Garmin.

Marshals were brilliant, very well organised and helpful. Great to see the iPod/MP3 ban as the roads were open around the course, but was less impressed to see one runner from the host club being cheered on by marshals wearing a blaring pair of headphones knocking out banging dance music.

In short: Nice flat course and excellent weather conditions this year meant a lot of PBs. I liked the track start/finish and chip timing too.
In full: Bottles of Lucozade sport at two drinks stops were really good for getting some decent hydration in without slowing down. The only teensy slowness in the course was a pedestrian underpass about a mile from the finish. Organisation seemed excellent, though the website doesn't get updated much. Definitely one to go for if you're chasing a PB.

In full: Enjoyed my third marathon - although i struggled more than in the two previous ones i had done in London. All the supporters and marshalls were enthusiastic and friendly

In short: Nice Venue, great marshals, nice first Marathon
In full: Would say this is an ideal marathon to start with. No real hills of any sort, plenty of encouragement by Marshals and even the locals of the surrounding villages!!

Did like the feed station with the Lucozade Sport drink; I needed that! Pity not all of the 'feed' stations had snacks to keep me topped up.

Loved the medal and the goody bag!

A special thanks to the guy of Winbourne A.C (didn't catch his name)who kept me going with his encouragement through the last few miles of the race!

In short: enjoyed the day
In full: Good points:- flat course with lots of great marshalls at feed stations including some with Mars Bars!! nice touch that! Some fantastic scenery along the river and nice to run the country paths off road. Stadium start and finish

Less favourable points:- needs better signage for the parking when arriving in the town, some boring scenery around a trading estate,

In short, enjoyed the day, pleased I ran the race, but not on a list of "must do's" for next year.

In short: A great race for my first marathon.
In full: I must add my congratulations to the whole team that organised the race, everything about it was just about perfect. The marshalling, the facilities, the encouragement from everyone - it all added up to make this a very special experience. Thank you.

In short: As good as always
In full: Good organisation, great marshalling, good local support and perfect conditions too. A slightly modified course from 2008 but still offering a nice mix of roads, tracks, town and countryside to keep it interesting. Thanks to the Amblers for a great day.

In short: A very well organised race, on a flat course
In full: A well organised race on a flat course. Plenty of drink stations and plenty of places from which relatives and friends can cheer you on. Quite a few curbs and pavements to negotiate, otherwise a good course. Plenty of marshalls.

In short: I really enjoyed this one !
In full: This was a well organised and very friendly event. The marshalls were plentiful and gave us all much needed encouragement all the way round. I was very impressed with the spectators, many of whom were not only there for the 1st lap but the 2nd also. The course is fast and flat as evidenced by my 3 43 pb. The running track finish was fun and the free cup of tea and biscuits were very welcome indeed. The water stops were plentiful. Excellent facilities at Tilsey Park. I am a big fan of the smaller marathons i.e. circa 1000 runners and this was one of the best I have done.
