In short: View from a supporter!
In full: I came along to cheer on my friend who was runnng and got to witness this fab race.
The location was nice, starting/finishing venue again good but what impressed me and made the race stand out was the organisation and in particular the tricky marshalling spots that ran like clockwork due to the hard work of the marshalls which I know can be a tough job.
Water & feed stations also ran like a dream and everyones support to the runners was fantastic.
I will definately be recommending this as a club trip for any of my running club who want a PB as I think this is the place for that - so watch out for the Dartford Road Runners next year as I'm sure we will be there on mass!

In short: Fast course, Well organised.
In full: Flat course with loads of PB potential. This was reflected in the relatively fast field.

Marshals did a great job, especially at road crossings, which were so slickly handled they didn't cost you a second. Great to have a stadium finish. Technical T is useful, however, goody bag not particularly inspired (mars bar and bottle of water) - perhaps a flapjack or energy shake would be a worthwhile addition for post run refuelling.

Overall a very well organised race that's well worth considering if you're looking for a PB.

In short: Excellant marshalling and a well run event, should have pb'ed good course for doing one.
In full: Nice stadium finish but the lap of the park before you enter the running track was the only bit I didn't like. The hot showers were a bonus.

In short: Excellent marshalls. Really on the ball and needed to be due to traffic.
In full: Positives:
Superb marshalls
Nice finsh on athletics track
Showers
Massage (more than the usual 5 mins etc)
Aid stations were well manned and provided good support
Didn't mind the industrial estate bit at least it was a break from the traffic and running on the road camber

Suggestions for improvements:
Bottles for water not cups
Why did runners have to go upstairs (admittedly not many but I couldn't do it at the end!) into stand to get out and get a cup of tea???
Route was flat but would have preffered abit of undulation if it meant avoiding road camber and traffic was possible

Pretty good overall though

In short: PB for my 3rd marathon
In full: Great flat course for those after a PB. Very well marshalled. Good support. Easy to find parking. Was in no state to enjoy the lap around the track at the end but bit different and good for spectators. Tea and biscuits were well received at the end and decent shirt/medal. Thought the goody bag was a bit lacking as it consisted of only a bottle of water and a mars bar. Thought they could have provided a banana and some lucozade/powerade at the very least.

In short: Well organised marathon
In full: An excellent first marathon for me. Well marshalled and organised. Nice shower and memento at the end. 5 hour cut off excludes the slower runners though so quite a clubby run. Lots of water stations and people handing out sweets.
