In short: Expensive for a 10k but still an enjoyable event few issues due to weather, nice medaill
In full: I enjoyed this race but I think this was due to having a good race. The first time I did it and think weather being normal would enjoy the course. I think the icey conditions around the 8km marker (which you had to run past twice) was probably not acceptable for a road race and surely the Longleat Estate could have found some more grit. Disappointed to here that the marshals had moved from this point for the second lap and therefore not around when someone went over. Also, the flushes on most of the toilets didn't work, I hope this is because they froze up overnight and very little the organisers could do about it, but perhaps, they could have asked the estate to open some of their facilities?. Nice medal even if the rest of the goody bag was a tad disappointing given the price. Dispite the hills a good 10k for newer runners as largely traffic free and good for bringing supporters/spectators.

In short: one big hill that you have to do twice
In full: Very nice event around Longleat Estate all on road, no traffic. No many flat sections and a long steep climb that you have to do twice.

In short: Very scenic and briliant finish - but plenty of hills ..
In full: Very well organised and extremely scenic. Very good for spectators and a great finish down the drive towards the big house at the bottom. A good range of challenging hills - especially as you know that the first one comes up again just before the end !! But a great run into the finish. Well organised and a lovely medal at the end ... and not a Lion in sight to snack on the stragglers ....

In full: My first time of doing this race, well organised but no pa at the start of the race. I made it 6.4 miles though my GPS ws spot on with the markers that i seen along the way, so the end of the course leading down towards Longleat House was .3 miles extra!! And those hills, what a challenge!!! Good though hopefully do it again next year.
