In short: Marvellous scenery and challenging course
In full: The organisation for this race was fantastic and a huge thanks goes to all the marshalls and helpers. The route was beautiful but would have benefited from a water station between miles 6 and 11 on such a hot day (I suffered massively here).
Very challenging for newbies but well worth the effort and hard work. As a first time slow runner there were no jelly babies or cake left for me but that is possibly due to the record number of entrants this year. This is all incentive to run faster next time!

In short: a hot one, a long run
In full: It's been said before, great organisation, lots of water stations, interesting and pretty course.

This was the longest i have ever ran, and those hills towards the end were challenging in the least. Thanks for the cakes (I only had 1 - a delicious sponge). Thanks to the marshals and the brass band

In short: Excellent marshalling/water/energy/sponge stations
In full: This was great fantastic scenery, excellent marshalling with ample water/energy drink/sponge stations for the hot day. Hear the cakes were good but sadly none left for the later finishers and band had packed up. And come on runners don't spoil beauty of place by dropping gel wrappers/bottles/sponges miles from the stations or they may stop us running here.

In full: Great race. Lovely scenery and very challenging. Plently of drink stations and sponges. My Children (6 and 3) loved Tommy Tickle, the entertainer. Great family day out.

In short: One of the best races on the Calender
In full: This is the second time i have run this race and i can say it is now firmly fixed as one of my favourites. It rivals the North Downs and the Eridge 10. It is a real challange with the testing hill section and the finnish is very tough. Like others have said it would be nice if the problem with the first sile could be sorted, but hay it is a great race well organised and the atmosphear at the end is fantastic.

In short: Immaculate marshalling
In full: A huge thank you to the army of marshalls who populated the long and windy course and especially to the man with the much-needed hose! A terrific course that keeps you interested throughout although the hilly sections towards the end put my teeth on edge!
